This is a beginner's question and I hope you don't mind my taking time
and space to ask it.
Every year I save a packet of nasturtium seeds from my spring purchases
to plant in an indoor window box. It makes a nice look during the
winter and supplies cut flowers for dinner table use, etc.
This year, when I looked at the 2 packages I had saved they were both
climbing/trailing types and I don't want that. In my outdoor nasturtium
garden are lots of seeds lying around the plants which are just
finishing up their season. They are very fleshy, however. Can I dry
them inside and plant them in my window box? How should I go about it?
Is there any dormancy period needed? Should that dormancy be in the ice
box?
As you can see, I have a vague idea of what to do but don't know the
details. Help please!
