Stephen, Around here there is Ginseng Season, when it is allowed to hunt and
harvest the wild ginseng. As I understand it, the harvesters plant the seed
immed. at the site of harvest to ensure the future crop. They are also
limited on the size plant that can be taken. This type of planting must work,
because these folks do this for money and would want the best and earliest
germination.
