Thank you for your comments.... I wonder about some people sometimes. I know I have explained the process many of times, but no one wants to read it. Everyone thinks that all mailing list work the same.
THIS IS UNTRUE. My mailing list program is defined by my ISP. It is not a MAJORDOMO or a List sever. IT is a smart list mailing program. Yes, I wonder if it is really that smart.
If you signed on this mailing list or any other mailing list, you will get a Welcome notice explaining how su bscirbe or un s ubscirbe from the mailing list which you just signed on. I know I have stated
in the welcome notice to SAVE SAVE these instructions. So, I will explain it again...
If you get daily messages from this mailing list with and address of seeds-list then you need to send a command to unsubscribe to
seeds-list-request@eskimo.com . In THE SUBJECT LINE NOT THE BODY, type in unsubscribe.... that's it.
These instructions and an automated systems is provided on this url
http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/seed.html
IF you get messages every other day with several posts contained in them, then you are in the digest mode of the mailing list and the command is different. Send your command to
seeds-digest-request@eskimo.com
Same rule applies, place the unsubscirbe in the subject and not the body.
OK SO YOU TRIED THAT? Are you using the same email address which you signed on with? The program does not capability to guess who you are, so you need to remember the original email address.
You can read more on the process to be re-moved on
