Blood has a higher affinity for C02 than for 02 and even a higher affinity
for carbon monoxide.
In a room with high levels of C02 breathing will be heavy, but in a room low
in 02 it will not effect breathing since breathing is regulated by C02 levels
in the blood not on the amount of 02.
