Marilyn,
I have tried to keep the plants inside in the winter and they don't make
it, not even in the greenhouse. I did not see any seeds in the Thompson
& Morgan catalog either. I'm in Western Colorado, zone 6. On average we
have 6 days below 0 F.

Sheryl, I don't know about seeds but it starts easily from cuttings. I
think Thompson & Morgan offered the seeds. You could look in their
little
book and see if they mention any pre treatment.
