germinating gunnera

Has anyone out there tried to germinate Gunnera? I am confused about the
requirements - some sources say " sow cool, germinates slowly", others say
"germinates rapidly at high temperatures"! The species I will be working on
are G. manicata, G.tinctoria and G.prorepens.
