Hello
I want to propagate Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens (Areca palm) through
seeds as I am getting seeds from Texas and want to germinate in Karachi
- Pakistan I want to know that these could germinate here as our day
temperature is around 35 C and night temp is around 20 C with low to dry
humidity and will be lowering in coming days. So any one can help me to
know that I should go ahead and sow these seeds in open and would also
like to get information on its viablity and how long I can keep these
seeds refrigerated/ afresh and if can be kept for long (i.e. upto
March/April 2000) can I germinate these after this season (March/April)
?
I also want to get information on germination chamber its sizes/ temp
controllers /material of chamber etc. etc.
Could we transplant the seedlings in open in the above given temperature
and envoirment directly from germination chamber.
Thanks
Anwer Yakoob
