Re: Steep area in shade


Why didn't I think of that over on the gardens list.  I do grow it on a fairly steep bank also.  How about ajuga which I have on the same bank?

Hi Arnhild--I have had very good results in a similar situation using
lamiastrum galeobdolon 'Variegatum'.  (Yellow Archangel).  It spreads fast,
is easily propagated by stem cuttings, and does well with soil retention on
slopes.
