I have some enzyclopedia but sorry I not find the Lamiastrum in it? Anyway
I suppose this is a plant with varigated leafcolour since cultivar is named
'Variegatum'? So Penny or hank or someone else may try to describe it?
And the one you mentioned Dave - Petasites japonicus .. I find also one
varigated one in my book - but I do not know it.
Ajunga is nice Penny - like the red one --- but don't know it may be a bit
small.
What I did not mention first time is that in one part of the place there
are GOUTWEED! I need something that are able to compete out ???? this weed
- thou I shall try to kill it before I really plant here ... But I know of
bad experiences that it is not done in one time. I suppose this weed have
produced seed for year here so ...
I also like hosta a lot and big hosta are in my eyes good 'weedkiller' ...
but I am not sure if the steepest part is too steep for hosta .. thou I
know now they also grow in rock walls ... but this is different I feel.
