tuberous begonias


        I also grow tuberous begonias in shade each year and enjoy them a
lot.  Mine are purchased as bedding plants in April and planted in pots that
circle the base of a bird bath, so they are watered regularly but have good
drainage in the pots.
        In the past, I had trouble with begonias dying in the heat and
humidity of the Midwest.  I think the secret here is to stick with the
"Nonstop Begonias" since this variety is summer tolerant.
