bloodroot

I have both the single and double varieties of bloodroot and they are beautiful, even when not in flower. The leaves have a nice shape, though I find I have to stake them a bit when they start to flop, before they go dormant. I have been told that this is a plant that should be divided fairly regularly. "Share it or lose it," they said. So I have divided mine and have it in many places and have given pieces away often.
