I was just wondering if the soil where the bloodroot grows profusely could be alkaline. Mine which were there when we got the land has never grown abundantly like some patches that I have seen. My soil is acid but where I saw large patches there were limestone rock(next to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee). Could adding lime help? I am thinking about trying it. Nancy Robinson
