I'm new to shade gardening. With that said, this is probably a question with an
easy answer for you veteran shadegardeners.
I looked out my back window today and in my wooded backyard there are all these
white flowers. Upon closer inspection I found that there are 8 to 9 white
petals on stems that are about two to three inches high. And, they have yellow
centers.
While I was looking at the flowers I came across a tree that is in bloom also.
Probably another easy answer for most of you. The tree has lilac-colored blooms
that are small. There are four lilac-colored petals that bend out that also
have yellow in the center.
Can anyone help me identify these two things?
