HI BOB,
LIKE YOU, I NOTIFIED DIANA AND SHE'S SENT A NEW ADDRESS (IN CASE YOU DIDN'T
SEE IT).
I'm leaving town Sunday for Lincoln, Neb., where my wife Pat, a traveling
nurse, has been on assignment for 4 months. We haven't been together for 3
/2 weeks. I'll spend 2 weeks there, then return to Marion. On May 1, I go to
our daughter's home in Omaha where I'll meet Pat for a 2-week outing with a
son and family in Colorado Springs. Hope to be back in my gardens somewhere
around
May 13-15.
I should be spending this time in the garden, but we only get to see our
Colorado granddaughter once or twice a year.
Still have a trip to Oklahoma to visit relatives sometime this summer. Other
than that, the long drives are almost over.
Have no idea where Pat will be assigned next. She's hoping for something
close. If she is assigned to a warm climate next winter, you can bet I'll be
with her to escape the snow and cold. Unfortunately, in this case I'll have
to find a plant-sitter to care for all the houseplants.
Have a great growing season, Bob.
