The derivatives of H. plantaginea are the most fragrant, as I recall. Among my
favorite hostas is H. Guacamole with large, white, fragrant flowers.
On varieties of Pulmonaria, my favorites are 'David Ward', 'Roy Davidson' and
'British Sterling'. I do note that several of D. Heims' new hybrids are in the
trade now.
