Hi Clyde:

Thanks for the advice. I was nervous about "mixing" the 13-13-13- in
the potting mixture. Sure don't need to damage the Hostas. I also
have Osmacote but it is only available in small packages here in the
Quad Cities (that I've been able to find) so it is on the pricey side
to feed all the Hostas I have growing.

What is this "Green Sand" you speak of? Never heard of it before.
