Hi All,
I've been using manure & Alfalfa tea on all my plants for about 3
years. Certainly does make a diff. Just be VERY SURE that you use pure
alfalfa, no corn additives, Corn is a growth inhibitor. I don't use
meal because the bag doesn't give the ingredients. I use horse cubes.
About 15 handfuls to a 45 gal drum. Let it sit for 3 days and use.
Then fill with water again and let perc for another 3 days, then use.
The sludge I then sprinkle around and then start again.
Rabbit pellets are ok if you can find them and can be sure they don't
have any corn added.
NB. Alfalfa only on bearded iris. Don't put alfalfa/manure tea on
them. Rhizomes hate manure & tend to rot.
