Are you serious? This sounds intriquing to me. could you tell us
more about this.....
Just how much fertilizer, an inch? LOL!
Let's say an area 10x10....100 sq ft.
I think easy gardening approaches are great and often tell fellow
gardeners not to take off the grass, but till it and then put on 10-
12 inches of pure compost. It contains everything as far as I know .
And this has worked for me.....but when you talk about adding all
your materials, do you then rototill that in?

I think your method is a good one.
I am somewhat lazy and don't rototill.
Yes, seriously! I haven't measured the amount of fertilizer I put down but I
just put down enough so I can see it clearly and that it covers the entire
area.
I have some beds that are now around 18 years old where I have done this and
no ill effects so far.
10-12 inches of soil would be marvelous!
