My garden control was to get up about 04.45 and sit on deck steps till the!@#@!@ things emerged. Shot and buried them. In pasture hose attached to car exhaust seemed to do the trick. Shove hose as far as you can down into the burrows after you have (hopefully) blocked other exits. Rather have dead groundhogs than zero peas/beans you name it PLUS horses with broken legs. Ginny who (back to SG) planted her martegons in too much shade and wonders if she dares to move them now.
