Clyde--the leaves on the pulmonaria reminded me of lily of the valley (with just one flower per stem).  They were white.

The leaves of many pulmonarias will become larger. But tell me this--what were
the color of the flowers on the one you saw?

There are many "new" pulmonarias. I suppose this one is an "oldie" but I
really like the leaf shape=longifolia. (I cannot remember the variety that I
grow.)
