Hello Everyone,
A walk in my garden just gives me such joy. When I get home from work,at 6
AM,
before my husband has the car in the garage I am out weeding and primping.
Sometimes I am out there so long my husband will bring toast & juice out to
me.
Minnesota is having a wonderful spring.Usually my tulips aren't flowering
until May but now every day there are more opening,it's wonderful.
I do have a question.My delphiniums(Belladonna) were great last year, but I
seem to have lost one over the winter for no apparent reason.I have heard that
they only last 2-3 years,is this true?
Here are a couple of tips for those who have bulbs & critters who like to
eat them.
When I plant them I make sure I dont touch them,I ware gloves or use tongs. It
is the human scent that draws squirrels to them. Also in the spring I sprinkle
baby powder
on them & the rabbits don't bother them at all.Just an FYI :)
Bye,Cyan (zone 4)
