Re: [SG] Magnolia

The book is the world of Magnolias, by Dorothy J Callaway,, and there are
several named varieties, as well as one native (to the south) species with
yellow blooms.

I believe acuminata has yellow blooms, however, as they are not "cutivated"
much, the blooms ae always high of the plants.

Leaf size is also amazing, and our "bigleaf" magnolia has leaves 18-24' long.

Marshall Adams, a local boy here sells about 8 native, deciuous varietie, he
has a mindspring address, but cant locate it immediately.  contact me
