Greetings All from southeastern MN (zone 4a).
Seven years ago we moved into a new-to-you house and I have become a shade
gardener by necessity. We have 13 trees on our lot, ranging from small to
large and hubby won't let me cut ANY of them down Right now my light pink
Pulmonaria is in bloom. I have pink Dicentra Spectabilis up several inches
now. I'd like to add a white one. Cicimifuga Racemosa (Snake root?) and
Astibles (white, bushy pink) are making their appearance also. I have a few
kinds of hosta and they are poking their sprouts up a couple of inches.
I'd like to buy more Hosta, but I haven't talked myself into spending the
money. I live just an hours drive from Shady Oaks Nursery, so maybe I'll
get down there this year for their Hosta Festival so that I can see them in
person and decide which ones I need to buy.
Thanks for listening.
Sue
