[SG] Hornets

I think the safest way to get rid of hornets is to call an exterminator.  I
had my garage de-wasped last year, and it costs next to nothing. BTW, wasps
are territorial, and return to the same nests and/or buildings year after
year, but hornets abandon their nests every year and move off to other
areas; unless your property is very large you may not see them again for
years, once exterminated.
