Dear Clyde: Brunnera macrophylla 'Variegata' requires very moist soils and light shade. Easier to grow is B. 'Hadspen Cream', which has slightly more golden edges and is quite vigorous. Unfortunately, these have now been confused in the trade, but should be easy to distinguish.
