HELP - Spring cleanup is about two-thirds done and I am itching to get on to
the "fun things" like mulching the paths and digging in a healthy amount of
new soil where indicated, fertilizing just about everything - all this in the
proper sequence so I can get to the "really fun things" like doing the rounds
of the nurseries near and far!
Here's where I need help - everything is stacked tidily, the Pro-Mix, mulch,
fertilizer - and of course it all needs to go someplace else! I picture some
sort of sled to pull these huge and heavy items around. Like a slab with no
sides on a couple of pairs of rollerskates and a rope to pull it obligingly
behind me as I do these chores.
I'm darn sure I'm not the only gardener with this problem - rule out a nice
new husband, he'd starve to death during the gardening season! Any other
suggestions will be very much appreciated - and if any of you have made sleds
let me know how you did it.

- hosts of Virginia bluebells, pulmonaria, anemonella, species tulips - but
not a sign of a hosta pip anywhere!
