How true! We always have a marvelous April spring. The hostas emerge and
look beautiful---then a frost! Happens every year in Indianapolis.So, be glad
your hostas have not emerged if you are in z 5 or lower.
I have given up on some of the montana species and varieties and early
emerging ones.
