Nancy, what is the latin part of "Prairie Blue"? I have some little blue
stem that I adore, especially when it turns mauve (starting right now).

How about some of the smaller grasses in the narrow space. They look
good for most of the year and are different colors, heights, and
textures. I really don't know what will grow in Louisiana but the
extension service should know. I found a beautiful blue grass called
Prairie Blue last week. Had to have it.
