Re: Sedums

Tammy, Bobbi, & Cindi,
I have a few Tall Sedums here. Find that they do just fine with plenty of
light, but no full sun. Veri Jamison is one of them. Mattroni (sp?) is another. Of
course, the old Autumn Joy.
There is something about Tall Sedum and rocks that fascinates me.. and now my
partner JoAn. We are planning on extending her series of raised beds by adding on
two extensions 10x10 feet. Canna in the center of each, tall sedums in the rest of
the bed. Then large sandstone rocks with troughs sitting on them and arranged
around on the ground beside the rocks with smaller cushion sedums. Large rocks
will be in the center entrance between the two beds. In the center an arch
creating a new entrance to the beds and paths.
Horticulture magazine has an article this month with photos of some nice
sedums. Short article with little text and not nearly enough photos, but a start.
Here we go again... off on another chase for more plants.
I do not have all the shrubs I purchased planted as yet... help!!
