Hi; I tried to grow that plant, but had to cull it rigorously the 2nd summer
to prevent reversion, then the 3rd year it came in all green. How long have
you had yours? I wonder if my having located it in full, unrelenting sun had
something to do with the quick reversion.

The green shoots/stems should be removed as soon as they are noticed in the
spring, they grow faster and over whealm the variegated ones.
The best upright variegated sedum that I have grown is one called 'Frosty
Morn' great white variegated margins, plants grow 20 inches tall or so. Some
green shoots are produced but they are easy to remove and the variagated
shoots are strong growing.
The green forms are very attractive too with a bluish green cast to them,
large robust plants.
Both plants will take some shade, but may become top heavy. Does best in
full sun were plants are full and lush looking
If a few years I will have a native upright sedum that does well in part
shade and blooms in July with reddish-purple flowers.
