Many shade plants will do well in scree. You have to experiment a bit, but
just think of the seeds which pop up all over in the various areas of your
garden. I have many hosta seedlings and daylillies which have become mature
plants in gravel, in cracks of interlock pavers, in fact wherever they
fall - in shade. Have some fun.
