Americans can't import plants without a phyto certificate, seeds either.
Don't understand about the seeds, but it has been true about plants
forever. Don't know what happened about the 12 plants that every American
was supposed to be able to bring in..... bare root, without a phyto.

Was it on this list a while back that there was discussion of
legislation being considered about not importing plants without a period
of evaluation?  If anyone remembers this, can you tell me what happened
to all this?
