Re: Blue-eyed Grass


I wonder what the blue-eyed grass would look like behind the pale yellow
dianthus, Dianthus knappii.  I haven't tried this, but I do have both
plants self seeding in one sunny, gravelly part of the garden. I suppose
they might   take light shade, as long as they had good drainage, but
full sun would be better. The foliage of the "grass" would hide the
somewhat gawky stems of the dianthus.
