Hello everyone
About the only plant I have ever heard of changing the color is
hydrangeas by adjusting the PH and it doesn't even work for all of them.
I can't remember which does or doesn't but I could probably find out or
you could call a nursery.
Does anyone grow Solomon's Seal? I was out just now at a cemetary with
my young daughter picking catnip for her kitty and saw some or maybe it
was False Solomon's Seal(hope this is right spellings) back under some
trees and in the weeds. It had a green-gold mass of seeds at the end of
the branch. Which one do you think it is here in northeast Iowa.

Bob
Dear Bob,
I think you are talking about False Solomon's Seal. I am growing that plus both varigated and green true Solomon's Seal. These latter two grow taller and have fruit hanging at intervals all the way up the stem, not just at the top.
