Thanks to all that responded to my daylily question. Even if I wish the
answer
would have been different.
The phlox and daylilies do bloom at the same time. I really don't like the
pastel pink right by the bright orange. I think I will have to take some
kind of action.
Bobbie, it's funny that you mentioned food coloring, I have thought about
doing that.
I think I am actually going to try it, what have I got to lose! If I could get
them to
turn red I could live with that. If that doesn't work I think I will take
Clyde's advice
and remove what I can and put in a new cultivar.
John, I hope you are getting the rain you needed. Up here in MN we are
finally
getting a wonderful soft rain.
Here is one more question,what about cross-pollenating? Could that change
the color?
