Speaking of Pulmanarias----

I have started collecting some, as I just love their foliage as well
as early blooms.  And to see both pink and blue flowers at the same
time on plants is a curiosity.  My problem ?

I think of them as shade plants, yes, but am having trouble with the
mildew that is forming on then periodically.  So I started some in
half shade, half sun to help them dry out after the morning dew.
Then of course the rain and overhead watering must be doing something
too.

Earlier this year a larger leaved one, was planted and was quite
tricky...needed water to not wilt, but two days of water made more
mildew.  The leaves actually succombed to the mildew I think and died
down, but new growth all appeared, did well for a while and now they
too, are mildewing.  THe one that doesn't form me seems to be old
faithful, Mrs. Moon.

I have bought some to resell, but in pots, I have even a harder time!
 Oh dear me.  There must a way!

Do any of you have advice?
