Don't want to panic anyone, and after all it may be hyperbole, but on ALL
THINGS CONSIDERED tonight they said this was the second worst drought of
the century. Whether that's accurate I don't know (I seem to remember at
least one worse drought and I'm too young to remember the Dust Bowl) but
we have had only 1/2 an inch of rain this past month. That being so, must
share with you all what our idiot TV anchorman said on the local news
tonight. He was exulting with the weatherman about the cooler temps and
actually said, "And we don't even have to pay the price of rain!" What I
said was too profane to be repeated, but don't these TV idiots take the
cake?
