I have a small white flowering pieris in my fern bed under the maple and it
is doing well despite being slow growing. It has been hardy for the past
five years, but this is a particularly cold winter for Illinois, so we'll
see. I am thinking about adding a small start of a red-blooming pieris.
Does anyone know if they are less hardy than the white ones or the same?
