I don't think you need male and female...just 2 so they can cross pollenate.
And they recommend 2 varieties...guess it works better...I don't know.
I like the big happy leaves and the shape is turning out to be quite
symmetrical when grown in the sun . I didn't expect that after knowing them
in the woods when I grew up. I just want a way to keep the racoon away from
the fruit when I finally get some.
I was surprised at how much water they seem to like.
