Hello Bob,
Perhaps some of the size thing is the way each of us receives our
material. I order my stuff for fall delivery and planting from Roslyn. Not
all that interested in the top of a plant... unless it is a woody. I am
interested in the health of the root system. I have never had any problems
with them, but I also have not a reason to complain on plant material, size
or delivery.
Are there some nurseries out there who do a better job on the
woodies??... yep. Someone mentioned Forest Farm. They are among the tops in
my opinion. But no matter how big or varied an inventory you can not locate
everything at one stop... so we all do some shopping around until we locate
our latest addiction.
