Re: Garden Catalogs

Marge,

I have to say, you and Kay are right. We ordered from Forestfarm several
years ago--"plant material" for the biohedge at the old house--and what
they sent was quite acceptable as to size and quality. I was freaked out
by the shipping charge to east of the Mississippi, but as Kay says, the
plant prices are reasonable to start with. And the selection cannot be
beat. The only other caveat is that if you are not a rocket scientist, you
will have a lot of trouble unpacking Forestfarm shipping cartons. They are
clearly intended for the survival of the plants inside, NOT for the
convenience or ease of the customer. Guess I can't complain too much about
that.

Is their 2003 catalog out yet? Guess I'd better ask them to send me one.
