Hello Brenda,
I do not think you will have all that much trouble dividing up you pan
of seedlings come spring. You should have nice root systems, but not a mess
that can not be untangled easily enough. When letting the medium in the pan
dry a bit, the roots will gently tease apart. If you meet resistance, swish
them around in a tub of water. You will be OK.
