It sounds as tho our intended use and location is wrong for these plants,
shucks I could even see them in my minds eye.   22 feet sounds great,  but
at 90 years old I doubt it I be able to see that far.

Because they would have provided a necessary visual screen,  I'll go to plan
'B' .   I once saw an Oriental style fence with a small shingled roof (?) at
the top.   It really looked sharp, yet because it used all natural wood it
tended to be visually absorbed by its natural setting.   The trouble is I
cannot recall enough details.   Altho I've searched books & magazines on
fence design ,  I have never seen it pictured.   Any suggestions as to a web
site to check out?
