Hello,
I see where you received good advice on where to plant your chammys. If
I may add... give these babies some room. They do remain small the first 10
years or so you have them. But, with somewhat decent soil, they will get to
be of good size. For instance the Boulevard cypress gets to be a somewhat
large tree given time. Mine is now about 12 feet or more in height and over
5 across... still going. There is a difference between slow growing and a
true dwarf. The Snow White I transplanted this past fall. Lots of light to
bring out the variegation, but some shade to protect. Located between two
buildings along a path.

Hi All,
I have a question about some conifers. I got them for next to nothing,
but would like very much for them to survive. The conifers in question are
Chamaecyparis lawsonii "Elwoodii', Cham. law. 'Snow White' and Boulevard
cypress. We live in zone 5 about 40 miles south of Chicago. How and where
do I plant them for the best results?
Thanks in advance.
