I am amazed this year at the blooms on my Primula vulgaris "Tie Dye". It
bloomed wonderfully this early spring. It has now been in bloom for about
the past 6 weeks. We have had some light freezes, but nothing has bothered
the this fall's bloom cycle. Still out there going full tilt. I did go back
this fall and transplant some silver leaf cyclamen coum in between the
primula clumps. The cyclamen are still small so they can not make a big show
this fall and early winter, but in the next couple they should be lovely if
all survives. The silave foliage has red-pink blooms sitting among all the
blue, white and yellow of the primula. Just hope the primula continues to be
a great re-bloomer so the combination matures out together in time.
