Re: [SG] favorite ground cover?

Connie,

If you can offer moist soil, how about Mazus repans 'Alba'? Takes foot
traffic, stays only a few inches high, has the most pristine white flowers
in spring and sporadically through the season and spreads very quickly
after a year of thinking about its new home. Does not want deep shade, but
partial to light shade suites it as long as you can offer ground that
doesn't dry out. I don't know about full sun - not in my climate - but
maybe in yours if you are north of me. The species, with its lavender blue
flowers is also good - seems to stay a bit shorter than the white for me,
but it may just be the different places they are. Some of that has put
itself in our gravel drive and even stands being driven over once in a
while.
