The "normal" forms of Brunnera love sun-as long as the soil does not become
very dry.

The leaves grow very large in the sun in good soil with good moister content.

For me in the shade the leaves are 1/2 to 1/3 the size they get when they are
in at least half a day of bright direct sun.
