Hi Joe,
I don't know how partial shade would do, but I'm guessing it wouldn't
hurt. We have some and they're in the sun. Down here in central
Virginia, we had a drought last year, and it really was hard on them.
You really have to keep them watered in the sun, and boy, is that hard
on the well, when you have a whole garden to worry about. I think I
would try it after our experiences last year. :o)
