The butterfly plant information

Hello - I don't know if it's proper to discuss the butterfly plant on this
forum. It 's suppose to grow in sun & part shade. I was just going to ask -
does anyone know how it would perform in part shade, with high noon
sunshine.

Some plants that I have tried here in New Orleans have not lived up to their
exposure recommendations. I tried camellias in broken shade 3 times and it
never flowered. The only camellias I see flowering great here in the New
Orleans area, are in full sunshine.
