Hi,
I've been doing some checking on Schizophragma hydrangoides 'Moonlight' vs.
Hydrangea anomola petiolaris, and have pretty much decided on the
Schizophragma, but wanted input from others who may have actually grown both
or know about them. I'm leaning towards the S. for several reasons:
supposedly it grows faster (at least at first), will bloom sooner in dense
shade, and the branches stay closer to the support while the H.'s supposedly
arch away. I'm considering growing it up a tree or against my fireplace;
however, I believe it has the adhesion discs for climbing and could damage
the brick/mortar?
Any input you have would be appreciated. Thanks!
